Unum Blood Drive Schedule for  December, 2011 and February, 2012:
Contact Bob Wooten if you are interested in helping out with a blood drive at Unum.

Volunteers are needed to work at the refreshment table providing donors with refreshments for the 15 minutes
they are required to stay at the table.  There are usually two three-hour shifts, but we can accommodate other
(two hour) shifts if needed.

  Blood Drive dates for December 2011
Tuesday, December 13                          7AM to 1PM (     HOIII)
Wednesday, December 14                     9AM to 3 PM (HOI)

 Blood Drive dates for  February 2012
Thursday, February 9                            7AM to 1PM (HOIII)
Tuesday, February 14                            9AM to 3PM (HOI)

CONGRATULATIONS to Unum retiree Terri Morris and Della Hitchcox, widow of Doug Hitchcox (Unum retiree),
for competing in the Beach to Beacon race in August.
Terri ran with a time of 1:22:32, with a placement of 5,614.  She was first in her category of women 80+!
Della ran with a time of 1:47:30, with placement of 5848.  She placed fifth in her category!

CONGRAULATIONS to Unum retiree Priscilla Badgley of Winterhaven Fla.
Priscilla became a Great Grandparent in June, to Adalyn Irene Irish.

§ Basic Medical Plans Based on Year of Retirement;

§ Retiree Benefits Described on the Unum Website;

§ Access to Newsletters;

§ Volunteer Contacts in Non-Profit Agencies;

§ Unum's Volunteer Service Grant Program (Unum will donate $1 per hour for volunteer work for
  a 501C3 (non-profit) firm.)
