Stanwood G. Ladd, 81, died on Saturday, May 21, 2011, surrounded by his
loving family at his residence.

He was born in Portland on April 22, 1930.  He graduated from Deering High
School in 1948 and from Bates College in 1953.  On June 20, one week following
his graduation he married his sweetheart the former Gwendolyn Reed.

Stan retired in 1989 from the Mashigonne Agency as a regional group sales
manager.  His career in the insurance field spanned forty five years.

Stan is survived by his wife Gwendolyn.  A graveside service and celebration of
Stan's life was held May 27 at Evergreen Cemetery in Portland.
