If you know of any recent retirees who may not be aware of the organization, let them know about us and how

We are a growing organization with over 360 members. More than 90 retirees responded to the invitation to the 
picnic on June 18 at Two Lights Sate Park. This is the best response ever for a meeting. Although it was a rainy 
day, we managed to have a good time. The outdoor games did not occur, but we enjoyed Bingo with Rick Robichaud
doing the calling,  

The next meeting is scheduled for September 24 at the Italian Heritage Center in Portland. This will be our Annual 
Meeting and invitations will be mailed in early September. If you have suggestions for a speaker, please let me know 
ASAP. 

Also we could use more volunteers to assist at the blood drives. If you are able to help, please contact Bob Wooten 
at 797-8982 or by email  rwooten1@maine.rr.com
